a wedding weekend

the wedding this weekend was great!  I didn’t really get to take any pictures of the bride and groom, and they didn’t get to reception themselves until almost 10 (I swear, there needs to be a better way to take pictures between the ceremony and reception). but the wedding was beautiful, here are a few shots:

the wedding color was “tiffany blue,”
so Nick and Lauren recreated some emotion scenes for us 

this was after Nick told Lauren he wouldn’t allow her to be a bridezilla
and of course I didn’t get any pictures of myself, or myself and Travis.  I need to work on this, I hardly have any pictures of us from the last few years because I’m always the picture taker.

back home for a wedding

I’m heading back to Houston today for a family friend’s wedding.
Charlotte is getting married to Kevin!
I’ve known Charlotte, since well, forever.
It’s a Catholic wedding {I’ve never been to one, but I hear they’re long}
so I’m planning to pack snacks in my purse.
have a happy weekend!
this isn’t the happy couple,
but I would like chickens and pitchforks to be involved in my wedding someday.

that’s right people, she’s a taken woman.
my cousin kate is engaged, huzzah!
I’m so very happy for kate and david.  their wedding is sure to be beautiful/amazing/epic.
and kate has promised not to be a bridezilla ;)
next time I will get some better pictures, promise.
dark room + iphone doesn’t mix.
