Best husband ever.

this was definitely the best valentine’s ever.

:: cookies and strawberries delivered to my office {yes, the delivery girl butchered my new last name, but it was still cute}
:: sushi and wine
:: a surprise chocolate covered strawberries delivery from travis’ mom {which gave us a good laugh. they put the wrong note inside “i love you seeeester. love, teona” — took us forever to figure out who it was from}

a lot of love all around.

this weekend was full of love, fun, friends and family
Travis surprised me with dancing lessons for valentines!
we practiced the foxtrot and the waltz sunday 
{we are going to have to practice, a lot}
my cousin Kate ran the half Love Austin Marathon Sunday morning
I’m so proud of her!
{my friend Glenn ran the full–that’s 26.2 miles…insanity I tell you}
the other photos are of the rest of our weekend…
the capital, over town lake in downtown Austin, grabbing breakfast at Snack Bar
oh, and some new chairs we got for the porch.
which aren’t too exciting, but I’ve been looking for these chairs in those colors 
for a long time.
it was such a great weekend, and it reminded me how I have so 
many wonderful people in my life.

valentines goodies

Travis and I agreed a few months ago that we weren’t going 
to exchange gifts this year for valentine’s day.
he just started a new job, and believe it or not, teaching assistants don’t make a lot of money.
but he’s dropped a couple of casual hints that he might get me something.
casual as in “hey, so could you send me a link to your etsy wishlist page?”
subtle, my man.
here are a few things on my etsy wishlist {as he calls it} 
and if they are wrapped up waiting for me on valentines, I wouldn’t be too angry.

…and I may or may not have gotten Travis something for valentines..
