My Grandma June passed away on Tuesday. She was my last living grandparent. She’d had dementia for almost a decade, and had been ‘gone’ for quite some time, but I still definitely feel the loss. She had six children {five boys, one girl — my mother}, and worked full time at night while her children were asleep. She was a strong, beautiful woman, and I’m honored to be her granddaughter.

life, and everything that goes with it.

Harper is sick. We don’t know if he ate something or caught something or what. Whatever it is, Travis and I got very little sleep last night.

We moved dad the last two weekends. While it was stressful (his ability to collect “stuff” is mind boggling), I am glad he moved. I feel like it’s a fresh start for our family.

Wedding stuff is ramping up. Between getting stuff done for the wedding and family obligations (oh and harper’s bad puppy training), we’re booked almost every weekend until the end of the year. But then we get to get married, which keeps me going during all this stress.

Half marathon training is going well. I never thought I would say this, but I look forward to running. It’s my chance to escape from everything else that’s going on.

Life is good/busy/stressful/wonderful/draining/beautiful — all wrapped up with a bow.
