oh, hello dear

things have been a little crazy around here.
between Christmas back in houston and moving here in austin, i haven’t had much time to sit and breathe.
but the apartment is really coming together, i love it.
i have a huuuge list of things to do this week, so that this weekend travis and i can do whatever we want, no chores or errands.

i start my new job next week!
i’m excited/nervous, and still have a lot to look over before monday, but i’m so ready for this.

here are a few things of note…
– our bedroom windows face the parking lot, which means lights at all hours.
you better believe i went straight to ikea and bought the darkest curtains i could find.
{i’m a very light sleeper, and any light/noise instantly wakes me up. boo.}
– harper loves the new apartment, mostly because it has thick carpet and he likes to roll around in it.
– travis and i have a lot of stuff. and i don’t know where to put it.
– i can’t wait to have this place totally unpacked, and just DO STUFF again.

oh, and i got a beautiful iMac for Christmas {something i’ve wanted for years}…it’s my baby. besides harper of course…

since we just moved, and won’t be in austin for christmas,
we passed on getting a real tree this year.

oh but next year, we will be getting a massive beauty to put in our living room.

graduation was great (short and sweet). i’m so grateful for everyone who came to watch me walk across the stage.
sorry for the silence on the blog front, travis and i have been moving/unpacking and things have been pretty crazy.
the new place is awesome! i can’t wait to share some photos (when this place looks semi put together).

hope the next few days before christmas are great!

i graduate today.

goodbye two years of graduate school, it’s been real.
