exits week is upon us.

while oh, hello dear was down, life went on as normal.  school was school, work was work.  family/friends/travis kept me partially sane.  tomorrow marks the beginning of ‘exits week’, which is where graduate students intending to graduate this semester take a pass/fail exam each day of the week.  some of the exams are from our core classes, others are from our specialties or electives.  i’m not the best test taker, but i’m usually pretty calm and collected.  what has me all in a tizzy (yes i said tizzy) about this upcoming week o’doom is that you really don’t have a break.  life goes on as normal during the day (work and school), and then five o’clock hits and you have one hour in front of the computer to prove that you know your stuff.  and then you do it the next day, and the next.  until that sweet moment on friday at 6 o’clock where you can finally take a breath.  forty or so days until i graduate.  you better believe i can’t wait.

in other news, travis and i found and were approved for an amazing apartment here in austin.  we’re moving right around graduation/christmas time, so things are going to be pretty hectic.  and since travis just started a new job, he can’t really get any time off to move.  luckily a good friend of ours said he’d be happy to come help.  which is good, because i don’t think i’d have much luck moving a washer and dryer on my own. thinking about moving, graduating and the holidays all falling within a few days of each other kind of makes me anxious. it’ll all work out i know, i’m just ready to get on with it.

so yeah, life is pretty crazy right now. but when is life ever not crazy? in fact i don’t think i’d ever want it to not be crazy, i think i like it this way (as long as you can see the light at the end of the tunnel).  things might be a little quiet on the blog the next few days, as i mad study and inhale coffee.  i swear i’ll be back {really back} very very soon.  have a great week!

yes! it’s true!
we are back and better than ever.  over the next week i’ll be adding a few finishing touches, so stay tuned!
