oh, hello dear

lauren and dad came up this weekend to celebrate father’s day.  i don’t have any pictures of him, as he was on his crackberry the whole time (he is NOT taking it on the cruise).  we spent saturday at the lake, which we couldn’t actually get on because they were draining it due to recent flooding.  but we did enjoy the pool and hanging out by the water.  we all got a little sun, and had a really nice time with travis’ family.  

we went out for a nice dinner with my dad and his best friend (who still lives in SM from their college days), then they went off and did who knows what, we stayed in and watched SNL.  sunday morning we went to the famous herbert’s taco hut.  we go here every single time my family is in town, my dad is a lifer.

it was a great weekend, let’s just hope we can survive a week of being on a big boat together!

so, there’s my new shoe crush.  i’m not a shoes girl at all, so if i actually follow through and get a pair…well we will just see.  but they’re all so fun (and high!) looking…i might just have to have a pair
