Harper and I are down in Galveston for a few days, and Harper is quickly making new friends

Things have been pretty hectic here around the house. Besides the stacks of insurance paperwork we have to do, we’re still trying to have an actual Christmas. Luckily, we have some awesome family members that are taking in us loners so we can actually do something on Friday.

After the first of the year, I’m going to be back and better than ever. It’s a promise I made to myself.

Here are a few little things going on in my life…

I’ve received a lot of outside emails from people who have read my updates on Facebook and Twitter. My mom passed away late Sunday night. I think I’m still in a little bit of shock, but we are doing okay. Keep busy, and doing okay.

I wanted to thank everyone for their love and support, it really does make things more bearable.
