what a goof

Harper decided to be innovative and use the empty dog food bag as a toy.  He dragged it around for a while, tried to get it under the couch (and failed) and the finally decided to get in the bag.

The last two weeks have been insane.  Mass Communication Week wrapped up today, and while I’m happy that it is over, I’m a little sad, because I worked with some great people, and this week has been so inspiring.  We had media professionals from all over the country speak to our students about what is happening in the industry.  We had some pretty big names (ahem Gary Vaynerchuk and Burnie Burns, woot woot.).  My graduate assistant position this semester has been to act as the Mass Comm Week coordinator for this year’s event.  I think it was a great success, but I definitely couldn’t have done it without the awesome team I worked with.

I’m off to Dallas/Forth Worth tomorrow to visit some of Travis’ family, I am super excited to see this bunch again.

Once I’ve had a few days to regroup/catch up on sleep, I’ll post all the details about Mass Comm Week.  But in the mean time, go check out the site! www.txstatemcweek.com.  We live streamed several of the sessions, so you can go back and watch some of what went on during the week.

Have a happy weekend all!

Fall is the perfect time to introduce new colors in your home.  Instead of the usual beige and white, try blue!  So many unexpected colors work with blue, and it’s adds a refreshing feel to your space.
