Zilker Botanical Garden

Travis, Harper and I decided to take a drive over to Zilker Botanical Garden yesterday. It was so beautiful, but so dang hot. After the garden, we ended up driving to Wimberely to go swim with some friends. Also, Tacodeli is my new favorite place, everyone should try it.

Harp and inky

Harper’s new obsession? This pink octopus toy my sister got him. What’s really great about it is that the head is a squeaky and the legs make crinkling sounds, so he likes to make music with it around 5 a.m.

It’s okay though, how can you not love that face?

Things to do in Seattle

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

So, Travis and I are going to Seattle in about a month (yippee!) to visit a friend that is working up there this summer. I’ve been poking around online, trying to find some fun stuff for us to do. While all the while keeping in mind that we are college students, so we don’t want to go anywhere too expensive (like the Space Needle, hello $50/plate).
Here are a few places I found that I’d really like to go…
-Seattle Art Museum Downtown
-Chittenden Locks & Carl English Botanical Gardens
-Seattle Aquarium
-Pike Place Market
Has anyone ever been to Seattle? Or live near there? Any suggestions?
