oh, hello dear

Well, it’s been roughly 10 months since I’ve blogged…oops? With a job where I’m in front of the computer/working on websites all day, I rarely feel like coming home and jumping back online. But look! I’m back! Let’s see if it sticks this time. :)

A few noteworthy tidbits…

– This past summer I drove to Colorado with my cousin to help her move. Her and her husband decided to leave Austin and move to the mountains. I’m still angry, let’s not talk about it. (love you Kate).
– Travis and I celebrated (and survived) our first holiday season as a married couple. It’s both a blessing and a curse to have your family in the same city. We had three Thanksgivings and five Christmas celebrations. I think this  year we’re going to have to do some bartering (I’ll go to your mom’s Thanksgiving and my dad’s Christmas, etc.).
– Harper lost a bunch of weight. He’s feeling pretty sexy.
– Travis and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary, complete with fancy champagne from our wedding and Sugar Mama’s cake.
– Travis and I are running the Austin Livestrong Half Marathon in February. We kind of (majorly) got off our training schedule during Christmas, so we’re trying to make up for lost time. We ran 9 miles yesterday and can barely walk today.

it was so hard narrowing down what photos to put on the blog, our photographers did such a wonderful job, and i think all of the photos are just beautiful.
